Safety First…
The founders have over 30 years in designing and managing safe environments. This foundations will be supported by hiring the best qualified staff to ensure the best living environment with the goal of improving the health and well-being of our residents.
Single Story Home
We don’t like stairs or elevators! The thought of having our residents take an elevator or ride in a “stair chair” every day or worse during an emergency disturbs us enough to ensure all of our homes are single story.
Zero Transition Flooring
Special care went into the architecture and selection of the flooring and sub-flooring to ensure a smooth transition between doors and across different flooring. This will significantly reduce tripping hazards by creating smooth transitions.
Special Flooring Products
While reducing the risk of falls with our designs, we also wanted to reduce the severity should a fall occur. This is accomplished with our special flooring materials. Our flooring materials are engineered to reduce the force of impact by up to 35.5% – thereby reducing likelihood of hip fractures and concussions. Additionally, the material also provides for a quieter home through noise absorption and reduces standing stress on our caregivers.
Curbless Shower Design
We reduced the risk of tripping hazard while getting into and out of the shower by installing zero entry showers. The showers were engineered specifically for assisted living homes and have a lot of grab bars and a patented quick drain feature to reduce the risk of free-standing water.
Special Lighting
Special lighting to promote healthy circadian rhythm, restoration of normal sleep patterns, reduction in glare and reduce the likelyhood of sundowning for those with dementia. This is done by establishing a healthy circadian rhythm allowing them to be awake and alert during the day and relaxed and sleepy at night. The lighting also good for the environment by reducing energy use by 60-75%.
Special Handrails
With sturdy mounting brackets maintaining wall clearance and stability, our high-quality handrails support our residents without adding additional risks.
Security
Your loved one’s safety is our priority. We combine modern safety technology with a caring, watchful team to provide a secure and nurturing environment.
